Zarator

ZARATOR contains 10mg, 20mg, 40 mg and 80mg of atorvastatin. It is used to lower high cholesterol and lipid levels in addition to dietary measures. It also helps to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. A pharmacy charge and normal doctor’s fees apply. Zarator is a funded prescription medicine. Zarator has risks and benefits. Consult your doctor to see if ZARATOR is right for you and use only as directed. Do not take ZARATOR if you have an allergy to atorvastatin, any of the other tablet ingredients, are taking fusidic acid, have active liver disease, are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you have or have had liver problems, kidney problems, muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, a recent stroke breathing problems, drink alcohol regularly, are taking any other medicines or drink grapefruit juice. Common side effects include headache, stomach pain or wind, heartburn, indigestion, nausea (feeling sick), constipation, diarrhoea, muscle and joint pan, muscle weakness, stuffy or runny nose, sore throat, nose bleeds, urinary tract infection, abnormal liver blood function tests, raised blood sugar levels. Serious side effects include temporary paralysis or weakness of muscles, rash and allergic reaction. If you experience any side effects see your doctor or pharmacist.
